back from holiday

oh my goodness, it's december already!

i hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and weekend. 

we were lucky enough to have family in from out of town visiting and the kids home on vacation for a whole week, so there have been many meals and walks and card games and a couple of basketball games watched and just good quality time spent together.  we are so grateful.

 

don't know where i've been, but i've only just discovered the wonderful world of iphone apps, after having the phone nearly a year.  i'm very behind.  "project polaroid" and "camera bag" are my current favorites.  you can do a search in "apps" on your iphone to find and upload them and you can share or see more photos taken with these applications here and here.

i plan to use the random number selector thingie i've read about to select one of you luckies.  i have to organize my comments, because there were a few made via facebook as well that need to be included.  so i will sift through things tonight or tomorrow and publish a "winner" shortly thereafter.  i'm really very happy to be sending the jam out and glad that someone will be happy to receive it.

i hope you are all well and finding time to breathe and appreciate the "little" things in life that are really the big things after all.
